Tolnitch Surgical Associates has been caring for women in our community since 1991. We are the Triangle’s only surgical practice that specializes exclusively in the care of women with breast disease. The staff and physicians are dedicated to providing personal, comprehensive surgical care for women with breast cancer, as well as those with benign breast disease.

We are able to offer a wide range of services in our office, including mammography and ultrasound. Minimally invasive biopsies of the breast can also be performed in our office, using either mammograms (stereotactic biopsy) or ultrasound (mammatome biopsy) for guidance. This allows us to provide a prompt and accurate diagnosis in the outpatient setting. Our physicians also have extensive experience and training in all of the advanced breast cancer treatment modalities. We are experienced in breast conservation therapy for breast cancer as well as sentinel node biopsy.
