Tolnitch Surgical Associates has been caring for women in our community since 1991. We are the Triangle’s first and most experienced surgical practice that specializes exclusively in the care of women with breast disease. The staff and physicians are dedicated to providing personal, comprehensive, state-of-the-art surgical care for women with breast cancer, as well as those with benign breast disease.

We are able to offer a wide range of services on site including digital mammography and ultrasound. Minimally invasive biopsies of the breast can also be performed in the comfort of our office, using either mammogram (stereotactic) or ultrasound for guidance. This allows us to provide a prompt and accurate diagnosis in the outpatient setting. Our physicians also have extensive training in all advanced breast cancer treatment modalities. We are experienced in breast conservation therapy for breast cancer as well as sentinel node biopsy.
